Texas Academy for Marine Policy

The Texas Academy for Marine Policy Webinar Series is an educational opportunity for current graduate students in the state of Texas to gain a better understanding of the role of science in local and federal government. This series will cover regulatory bodies and ocean governance, with goals to:

  • Provide educational materials and resources for current graduate students interested in science policy (career or other experience)
  • Provide hands-on experience disseminating scientific expertise to federal and local policymakers 
  • Create a community of like-minded graduate students and professionals and provide networking opportunities across disciplines
