April Taylor is a Coastal Resilience Specialist for Texas Sea Grant at Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi. She holds a Masters in Earth and Environmental Resource Management from the University of South Carolina and was formerly a tribal liaison for the South Central Climate Adaptation Science Center. Her interests focus on climate variability and change, building capacity for resilience and climate adaptation, and workforce development in related fields. In 2021, she received a Climate Adaptation Leadership award in the Individual Achievement category from the Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies. She serves as an author for the Southern Great Plains chapter of the Fifth National Climate Assessment.
