Mia Zwolinski is the Research Coordinator for Texas Sea Grant. She oversees the program’s research grant competitions, fellowship opportunities, Texas Sea Grant’s Grants-In-Aid of Graduate Research Program and the Texas Sea Grant Scholars Program for undergraduate research.
Prior to joining Texas Sea Grant in June of 2015, Zwolinski was a Proposal Administrator with Texas A&M University System Sponsored Research Services, where she prepared and submitted proposals on behalf of researchers at the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Station and the Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Service for competition grants. This included assisting the grant applicants with developing proposal budgets and ensuring adherence to Texas A&M University System policies and the guidelines of the granting agencies.
She also has served as a Proposal Coordinator with the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, as a Vice President and Financial Analyst with Bank of America, as a Financial Reporting Consultant with NationsBank and Assistant Bank Examiner with the Texas Department of Banking. A College Station native, she holds a BBA degree in Finance from Texas A&M University.
