National Ocean Sciences Bowl: The Dolphin Challenge

at Texas A&M University at Galveston, 200 Seawolf Parkway, Galveston, TX 77554 on February 1st at 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

The National Ocean Sciences Bowl (NOSB) is an academic competition and program that addresses a national gap in environmental and earth sciences in public education by introducing high school students to and engaging them in ocean science, preparing them for ocean science-related and other STEM careers, and helping them become knowledgeable citizens and environmental stewards. The Dolphin Challenge is the northern Texas regional competition of the NOSB. There will be Friday field trips and Friday night dinner for teams.

Registration: 

  • To register go to EventBrite.
  • Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • If a coach plans to bring two teams, please register both teams on-line as soon as possible.
  • There will be no team registration fee for Dolphin Challenge 2020.
