Cooking with Seafood
Cooking with Seafood is a monthly cooking demonstration program designed to encourage people to buy, cook, and eat healthy seafood.
This month we wrap up the 2017 series with a delicious shrimp and black bean soup served with rice. As part of National Drinking water week, our educational component will be presented by Michael Urrutia, Director of Water Quality Services at the GBRA Lab, and Stephanie Shelly, the Plant Manager of the Port Lavaca Water Treatment Plant. Learn a little about the water which comes from your household tap and where it goes after you use it in your home.
